Sipping Magic: Best Bars at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is a place where magic comes to life in every corner, and that includes its vibrant bar scene. From whimsical themes to expertly crafted cocktails, there's a watering hole for every taste bud within the confines of this enchanting world. Across Walt Disney World property expertly themed bars will extend your immersive experience beyond the heat of the parks for a magical experience into the night.

1. Trader Sam's Grog Grotto (Disney's Polynesian Village Resort)

  • Why it's great: Immerse yourself in a tropical paradise filled with whimsical decor, exotic cocktails, and interactive surprises. Each drink is a work of art and keeps you on your toes. 

  • Don't miss: The ambiance! From the erupting volcano to the enchanted tiki gods, every corner of Trader Sam's is brimming with adventure and keeps adults immersed in the magic into the night.

  • Favorite drink: Krakatoa Punch and Uh-Oa!

  • Logistics: In the evening you can park in the Polynesian Resort parking lot and tell the gatekeeper you’re headed to Trader Sam's. You can also get here on the monorail, boating across Bay Lake, or via Disney resort bus. On the first floor of the lobby, take a left behind the gift shop and follow the hallway on your right until you’re almost outside. There is a brown door on your right, and the check-in desk is just beyond the door. Expect an hour wait every night - with no reservations, all seating is first come first served. Bonus Bar: Check out the tiki terrace outside for a Spikey Pineapple (Pineapple soft serve with coconut rum) and some live music while you wait for your seat inside. 



2. Jellyrolls (Disney's BoardWalk)

  • Why it's great: Experience the lively atmosphere of this dueling piano bar, where talented musicians take song requests and keep the energy high all night long.

  • Don't miss: Joining in on the fun! Sing along to your favorite tunes and be prepared to become part of the show listening to everything from classic rock to country, with a sprinkling of Disney classics in the mix. 

  • Favorite drink: Jellyroll (daily special cocktail in an extra large solo cup, often sweet and refreshing)

  • Logistics: In the evening you can park in the Boardwalk Resort parking lot and tell the gatekeeper you’re headed to Jellyrolls. You can also get to the boardwalk via the Skyliner with a stop at the Epcot International Gateway and a short walk on the Boardwalk, or hop on a Disney resort bus. Entrance is on the boardwalk across from The Atlantic Dance Hall, close to the walkway from Swan and Dolphin. Also no reservations, and typically a $20 cover charge. 



3. Oga's Cantina (Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Disney's Hollywood Studios)

  • Why it's great: Step into the Star Wars universe and mingle with smugglers, droids, and other intergalactic characters while enjoying themed cocktails like the Fuzzy Tauntaun and the Jedi Mind Trick.

  • Don't miss: Soaking in the immersive atmosphere! The sights and sounds of Oga's Cantina will transport you to a galaxy far, far away.

  • Favorite drink: Fuzzy Tauntaun (the foam on top makes your mouth numb!)

  • Logistics: A park ticket and park reservation for Hollywood Studios is required for entrance. Entrance is inside Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, just beyond the Millennium Falcon. Use the MyDisneyExperience app to make a dining reservation, or check with the hostess outside if there is any walk up seating available. Often there is seating available if you go check in 10-15 minutes before the park closes. 


4. Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant (Disney Springs)

  • Why it's great: Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this authentic Irish pub, complete with live music, traditional Irish fare, and a wide selection of beers, whiskeys, and cocktails. With a main stage and numerous small raised tables through the restaurant, you’ll be able to enjoy the entertainment from anywhere.

  • Don't miss: The nightly entertainment! From Irish dancers to live bands, there's always something happening at Raglan Road.

  • Favorite drink: Half and half (an Irish pub classic - layered Guinness and Harp)

  • Logistics: Located in Disney springs. Three free parking garages make Disney Springs an excellent option to enjoy night life at Walt Disney World. It is also accessible via bus from any resort or park, and has transportation via bus back to every resort long after the parks close. 


5. AbracadaBar (Disney's BoardWalk)

  • Why it's great: Step into the golden age of magic at AbracadaBar, a whimsical lounge inspired by the magicians and illusionists of yesteryear. This enchanting establishment invites guests to experience the wonder of sleight of hand while indulging in handcrafted cocktails with a magical twist.

  • Don't miss: Keep an eye out for hidden details and surprises throughout the bar, as every visit is sure to reveal something new.

  • Favorite drink: Magic mirror

  • Logistics: Also located on the boardwalk, see Jellyrolls above. This bar is located almost directly across the lake from Yacht and Beach club resorts. 


6. Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar (Disney Springs)

  • Why it's great: Embark on an adventure with Jock Lindsey, Indiana Jones' pilot, and explore his aviation-themed bar filled with artifacts, memorabilia, and unique cocktails inspired by his travels.

  • Don't miss: The themed drinks! From the Air Pirate's Mule to the Cool-headed Monkey, each cocktail tells a story and adds to the adventurous atmosphere. Definitely don’t miss the Holiday Hangar Bar, decked out in holiday cheer with a very merry specialty drink menu.

  • Favorite drinks: Wrong Island! and Reggie’s Revenge

  • Logistics: Located in Disney Springs, see Raglan Road above. Hangar bar is just around the corner, next to another personal favorite, the Boathouse!
